Mrs. Thompson and I founded an Arizona-based LLC. We named it for Arizona's old slogan of being the Copper State. The Arizona Capitol's dome is sheathed in coppper rather than gold. Copper mining and smelting drove much of Arizona's pre-WWII economy. Plenty of Arizona's historical towns have a copper history. Look at Ajo, Jerome, Globe, Bisbee and many others.
